On Tuesdays, we have a stall at the hospital selling all manner of items, many of them donated, to raise money for the current appeal. The stall is located on the main corridor of the hospital near to the entrance to the Swannery Restaurant. The people who run the stall are always grateful for donations of saleable items, unwanted presents, etc.
All of these delightful cardigans were knitted by Margaret of Putnoe. She knits throughout the year and keeps the Tuesday Stall supplied with these lovely woollies. We say a warm thank you to Margaret. We are most grateful also to Elaine of Biggleswade who knits children’s jumpers and cardigans and Veronica of Bedford makes lovely aprons, bags and peg bags.
